I am not interviewed very often and so this was sort of interesting, at least for me, if only because the line of questioning was pretty far-ranging and addressed a lot of things that I don’t actually think about very much.  Nonetheless, I responded to every question (…and I hope I managed to get the answers right… :-)  Here is the link:

I recently discovered a remarkable vocalist, Mary McKay, who is right here in Toronto.  She is extraordinary in that she can sing with a rarified sense of what soul and R&B is really all about!  She is clearly blessed with a rare skill!  Here is a casual, four-minute clip of her that I really like and which ought to give you a good sense of where she is coming from:
