Next year is set to be a busy one for jazz musician Andrea Lisa.
The 22-year-old from Henderson will release her debut album So Sweet before Christmas.
Ms Lisa and her band head to Australia next month to play dates in Perth and Sydney where she may stay for a few months.
"We'll be travelling a bit next year so we won't be in New Zealand much."
The group is also booked to play at the Fiji Jazz Festival in May.
Ms Lisa was born in South Africa and moved to New Zealand with her family at the age of nine.
The former Waitakere College student graduated from Massey University in April this year with a bachelor of music in jazz performance.
The vocalist and guitarist names guitarists George Benson, Wes Montgomery and Pat Metheny as influences as well as vocalists Esperanza Spalding and Corinne Bailey Rae.
