NEW YORK, NY: JazzReach is thrilled to announce its 2010/2011 Season of Educational Programming. The season will feature a broad mix of JazzReach's signature live multi-media programs for young audiences, informative clinics and masterclasses and main-stage concerts for general audiences. All activities will feature JazzReach's acclaimed resident ensemble, Metta Quintet, take place in partnership with some of our nation's most esteemed performing arts presenters in over 20 communities across the country and aim to serve over 20,000 people of all ages.
Some notable season highlights include a three-day residency with Jazz St Louis, the premiere of a new educational work about Duke Ellington at the Ferst Center in Atlanta, GA and a new partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District and Central LA High School #9.
