What may have happened? Three musicians with huge experience may have got tempted to record something fabulous, and would have been right in their way. What did happened in reality? Three musicians with huge experience recorded something transparent, subtle, and humanly simple – something that majority of young ones could not do. Just because there is simplicity which can be saturated, to which you come through hundreds of melodies and thousands of hours of rehearsals and performances. This is the case when you are not looking for the easiest solutions, you just avoid excessive movements. As a result, music becomes not simply refined, it acquires the touch of coolness and aloofness. Something that may easily turn into ice. This is a different case, however. Observerness, as one of the main colours of the album, is there indeed, but it is warmed up by splashes of unconcealed emotions, and sometimes even real passion. It also forms an intriguing mixture of meditation and admiration, and which one is winning is difficult to say. And you need not. Having listened, everyone would decide for themselves...
