Vito Rezza and 5 AFTER 4's "Rome in a Day" is a masterful and delightfully diverse collection of all-original new material.  The groups founder and driving force,  powerhouse drummer/composer Vito Rezza, is joined by keyboardist Matt Horner, saxophonist John Johnson and bassist/producer Peter Cardinali.
The close personal rapport of the band members shines through on this CD. The CD was inspired by Cardinali showing Rezza Rome following the band's Berlin dates.  "I had never seen Rome and desired so uch to feel this both enchanting and historical place.  Afer all, I was born in Italy and had only been back twice since emigrating to Canada... Peter had a meeting schedule in Rome on his way home and said to me - 'You're coming with me.... we walked for some 12 hours and literally saw Rome in a day!  I was thrilled and overwhelmed by the sights and sounds, not to mention the food. Exquisite!!!"
